Enjoy a quick lunch and then join us for a discussion on next steps in building Community-Campus Engage Canada (CCEC) – an emerging national network and community of practice focused on increasing the capacity, infrastructure and impact of equitable community-campus partnerships.

Food movements in Canada have long had strong relationships and networks with academics – collaborating on research projects, student experiential learning opportunities and case studies to analyze and create innovative policy. Following several years of a large partnership-based research project on community-first approaches to community-campus engagement (See https://carleton.ca/communityfirst/), a diverse group representing academics and civil society organizations have come together to explore next steps in advancing a dynamic community-campus engagement movement that will strengthen communities across Canada.

Join us to hear what’s been happening, how you can get involved and to share your thoughts and feedback on plans thus far.
